Niky Pasolini – 2025 Pilot Finalist (Hour)

For to Fade

For To Fade is a love story between two young men who meet at Oxford University, and whose passions clash against the realities of Cold War espionage.

Niky Pasolini is a writer and director from London, currently in her final year at the National Film and Television School, studying Screenwriting. Whilst at the NFTS, she wrote the short film Ether, which had its premiere at La Cinéf in Cannes this May. Before coming to the NFTS, she studied English Literature at Oxford University, where she directed multiple plays including a production of Sartre’s No Exit, and scored over ten theatre and film projects. In between studying she has spent time writing and composing for the Stages Theatre Group in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As a writer, she is drawn to inventing both action-packed adventures as well as more naturalist, psychologically nuanced stories.
