About 3 months into the Covid lockdown I knew I was going to have to do something or I would lose-my-mind. Several friends had recommended The Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver, so I thought I’d try an online class.
Luck was on my side when I picked an introductory screenwriting class with a fabulous teacher and several fellow writers with whom I still workshop. As an avid reader I was drawn to the challenge of putting words to something that was meant to be seen. My goal is that each screenplay I write will be an opportunity to improve my craft.
I’ve been reading Tarot for years now, and I believe it is the storytelling power of the cards that keeps me coming back. Ask a hundred readers what a particular card means, and you’ll get a hundred answers. We’re all on a Fool’s Journey and it was fun to think about where Marnie’s might take her.
